Specialized M Lock shoe attaching point replacement

So my Specialized cycling shoes M Lock attaching point broke, rendering the shoe inoperative. I studied it for a while and figured that I could make this.

I had to take the stitching off to get the broken part out of the shoe. Took some measurements and I was on my way.

When reinstalling the part I used a heated pin to make the stitching holes into the part. Using nylon thread I did not stitch across the part as I think that this was what caused the original part to break.
