32mm Pipe Union Connector (Solvent)

[EDIT: Apologies to those who downloaded yesterday! I was happy with the thread tolerance on Part 1, but my second print needed a bit of sanding/scraping for the hole/penetration. I re-uploaded Part 1 last night - same thread - bigger hole!]

This is a remix of a 32mm Union connection modelled by Didier Godefroy, downloaded from https://grabcad.com/library/pvc-u-union-3pcs-orion-32mm-1 and uploaded to Thingiverse with the kind approval of Didier.

I have adapted it for a 32mm solvent jointed New Zealand standard drainage pipe with an internal diameter of 32mm and an average outside diameter of 36.35mm.

Correct “O” ring size is going to be a case of “suck it and see”, but so far, no leaks with the “O” ring scavenged from my garage floor.

Little thought has gone into the cap and it is not intended to be watertight. I am using the unions on the drainage for a caravan and the cap is to keep everything neat on an external pipe to the grey water tank and an air admittance valve whi
