Half Cube

If you balance an cube on one of its corners and cut the cube exactly along the horizontal middle, how many corners does this new face have?
A friend of mine, an university lecturer, asked me to print an model of this to show to his students.

This cube has an edge length of 70mm. You'll need to print the file twice, duh.
