Zip Tie Quad skids

I didn't understand why people insist on mounting quad skids with the motor screws. All that ever does for me is force me to find longer screws. I think a zip tie and a little double sided tape makes allot more sense. When they wear out you don't have to take your motors off. The one obvious advantage is they can have larger surface area. I included a 6mm tall version and a 10mm version. the one in the pictures is 6mm. Its allot shorter than most but I don't do allot of skidding. I admit that th
