__Edit:__ Before finally gluing your reed tube inside the holder, do a test with water running to check if your reed contact is __UN__sensitive enough and to determine the final placement inside. Some users reported to have a constantly closed contact after inserting. A lower sensitivy reed contact should be prefered in this case. If your contact happens to be too sensitive, try a placement further away from the magnet towards the top of the holder (should be deep enough to vary).
