This produces exactly the same unit as the original. I just changed the source file for 2 reasons:
1) to make it a little more friendly for the customizer
2) to introduce "small" so that cutouts do not exactly line up with the surface that they are cutting out of. This makes the preview easier to look at and it prevents errors in the rendering.
