diaper genie jaw post

We have a Diaper Genie Elite that is from about 2013, the tall one. It has two jaws that open/close when you step on the foot piece. Many moons ago (i.e. first kid) , a post on one of the jaws broke so only one side would open. The jaws are symmetrical, so I flipped it around to the other side. Then a year or so later another post broke, back to one side but who cares kid is almost out of diapers anyways.
