Okay; I've now been running this fan duct with the added bracket nearly non-stop since posting (with obvious breaks for clearing the build plate and changing filament) and there has been zero drooping! I even did a torture test of putting it near the build plate and cranking up the nozzle and plate temperatures well beyond PLA's limits and it held fast.
If anyone else has any drooping issues after adding this bracket, please let me know!
