I had found a few old printers that I used for building simple GRBL CNC machines like plotters, laser engravers etc.
Those printers not only have stepper motors, but also some DC motors.
I've ordered a drill chuck with 3mm or 3.17mm mounting diameter, for motors with 3mm drive shaft.
You'll need some insulated wire, about a foot, and also a 3mm Machine Screw/Bolt M3 x 40mm, in another words 3mm diameter 40mm long. And a nut with 3mm inner diameter.
