For the CR-10S5 the bowden and cables to extruder dip quite a lot downwards.
The new guide plate is mounted using the existing screws. It keeps the cables and bowden streight after the stepper and reduces filament friction in the bowden. This also makes the infeed of new filaments a bit easier.
