Simple Battery saver for ye olde Celestron 8x50 Polar Finder

I keep forgetting to unscrew and shut off the the reticle illuminator led.
After the third battery set in a week here the solution.

The red open ring clicks around the illuminator screw and keeps it shut off.

A simple look at the finder and you know for sure whether it is draining battery.

So simple, so stupid, so effective!
