South Bend Lathe 10K Spacer for Metric Threading

An old South Bend Lathe (mine is a 10K) can cut Metric threads with gearing changes. The picture is not set up for metric as shown, but to show in the lower right corner the 40T and 56T gears.
Quite a while ago Tools4Cheap was selling a metric gear set thus allowing the cutting of metric threads. See YouTube videos on metric threading.

Installing this set requires a combined 100/127 tooth gear which interfaces with the a spur gear and the 56 tooth gear mounted on the gear box shaft. South B
