metal shafts transfer box with herring bone gears

For those of you who own a lathe here is a design that combines printed plastic parts with metal shafts.

You can have any finish you like on the shafts, the output shaft shows one possible version.

Do not forget to tap a M3 thread through the three holes on the output shaft.

EDIT: added the connecting shaft between the gearbox and the transfer box. Updated output shaft. No, it is not confusing at all.
