The fabulous GB model Z as seen in the beginning of the movie "The Rocketeer".
It was the fastest plane in 1931, unofficially clocked at 314mph, but a horrible crash ended it and caused the development of the model R1 and model R2.
The small plane in the picture is like the actual plane, but in 6mm scale.
The larger plane in the picture is slightly modified with an open cockpit to put my dog in it
That makes the wife happy as its really her dog; she thinks its adorable.
