8mm rod holder for Kigima filament box

I finally found a box in Germany that holds a single filament spool and is not overly expensive. You can find it on Amazon as Kigima Müsli box with 5,7l volume. 3 of these cost 18 Euros.

For my setup this is easier than a big box with multiple rolls, but this depends on your usage case of course.
