P8079hp night vision mount for Velbon CX 686 tripod

For years, my P8079hp night vision tube was held together with duct tape and zip ties.

I decided to change that.

First I modeled the plate section off the plate used on my Velbon CX 686 tripod. I then measured the diameter of the tube and created a section for that (it should fit snugly, including wiring), then created a box for batteries, on/off switch and LED indicator.

Currently printing on my Ender 3. Will let you know how it turns out.

And no doubt there will be changes to com
