Before I continue. This modification, if not done correctly, can seriously damage yours printer, harm you or cause a fire and stuff the like this. Still, you're interfering with an eletric device. Any attempts at your own risk.
I wanted to add MOSFETs to my printer. Decreasing the current flowing through the board comes to me as a good upgrade.
This Anycubic i3 Mega double MKS MOSFET inspired me.
I wanted to model it by myself be sure it fits into the printer and the MOSFE
