Pinewood Derby Body - El Camino

My son wanted to have a cool car this year, and he loves El Camino's.

I found this model on the net and modified to fit the pinewood block under it. You can simply cut the block to be 10mm thick, and 154mm long. BUT! make sure you have the right distance in the front to center the wheels. I provided an image that shows a simple size layout. I plan to leave some extra wood on the rear, and sand down the front and side lower edges. You can see the fancy block vs the simple block.
