This simple hand-operated gadget is great for younger kids (and older ones, too!).
The Archimedes screw inspires this model. A central screw collects the balls in a chambered column and slowly lifts them to the very top of the maze, where they are released to begin their descent along the tangled path.
This model comes in two parts which should be printed separately and then easily assembled. You will need about 5 or 6 8mm steel ball bearings.
