This is a remix of a very popular box for the LM2596 step down converter.

I wanted to be able to mount the step down converter next to my Fibaro FGK-101 in one piece so I designed this mounting plate.

I used the LM2596 to run the sensor on mains power with the add of a small 5v power supply.

The Fibaro FGK-101 mounts to the plate with two M3 button head screws and I attached the plate with 3M automotive double sided adhesive. I am using this setup with a DS18B20 chip to monitor the tem
