Flexible 3D Peptide Models

These models are modular and allow free rotation about both the phi and psi angles of each amino acid residue. In addition, these models include a realistic representation of the steric and hydrogen bonding potential of peptides, including explicit backbone hydrogen bond donors and acceptors. It is hoped that these models will be a useful tool for biochemistry and molecular biology educators and their students in conveying the fundamental basis of protein secondary structure
