34mm C4 bracket

This 'thing' is a mounting bracket to allow a 34mm LDC (Large Diameter Condenser) microphone capsule to be fitted into a BM800 body, and permit 'end address', rather than the more usual 'side address' mode...
This variation allows the microphone to be more conveniently located when used as a voiceover, gaming or blog microphone, for example.

The use of a 34mm LDC capsule can greatly enhance the quality over the original BM800 capsule.

This configuration also creates a pretty good layout for a very effective cardioid pattern, which can be helpful in difficult acoustic environments.

The bracket is mounted to the top of the original mic casing, using M2.5 screws. The base also permits the inclusion of rubber shock absorbing washers, where required.
