Bicycle Cable Ferule - Crimpless Cable End

This is my take on a crimpless cable end or ferule. I use them to keep cable ends from fraying when in my storage bin. This is a two-part design. A collet slides over the cable end and then a housing compresses it and holds it in place. It is sized to work with both the shift and brake cables

These can be used to protect the end of the cable from fraying while on the bike, too. But they are larger than the crimp on type.
