It's designed for #10 screws. It's roughly 12mm thick so I could get the port mounted behind a preformed laminate counter top. (similar to https://www.lowes.com/pd/VT-Dimensions-Formica-10-ft-Carrara-Bianco-Straight-Cut-Laminate-Kitchen-Countertop/1000437765) They make great desktops.
