Pay attention that the position of the smoke detector just over the printer, would be futile in case of a fire. Thanks to the comment by LaserKarl that pointed out the correct position of an smoke detector: just on the ceiling, where the smoke will accumulate first.

Please, don't use this thing for an smoke detector, but for anything else.
