Buckle Spa cover, Hot tub, screwed female

I was looking around for a good buckle to secure the cover on my mothers spa bath but couldn´t find one so I remixed this buckle to you can screw the female part to the side of a spa bath and then attach the male part to the cover and fasten it, works like a charm.
I find that a light sanding of the male part is needed to make the parts fit smoothly, it took around 30 seconds to fix that.

Support is required on the female part.
