M8A1 tank weapon is the M5 "Stuart" light tanks chassis, add the M8 type turret and anti-tank guns on its own. In the second world war battlefields, M8A1 rely mainly on 75 mm howitzers and indirect fire support, not direct exchange of fire with axis tanks, but its operational effectiveness are well received by the allied forces.
