GTI Phone Holder Vent Bracket

The Phone Holder my wife bought me for the GTI had a spring loaded mechanism for securing the holder to the vent blade. The mechanism has weakend over time and causes the holder to fall off, usually at the most unopportune times.

This design is based on hooking the vent blade. The ball is designed at 17.5mm diameter. It fits in the holder socket snug. 16mm was too loose and did not function as intended.

UPDATE! PLA is not a suitable material due to failure under "high" heat. Will try
