15mm pipe leak water collector

So one of the pipes sprung a small leak and it takes a couple of days before someone can come over to fix it.

1.I've put a bit of pvc tape over the leak, so it does not spray but only leaks along the pipe.
2.then I attached this two part connector with more pvc tape and attached the 8mm hose to it.
3.used more pvc tape to make sure it does not leak.
4.put the other end of the hose in a bottle.

now i can just keep topping off the system so we can at least use warm water.
