I designed this because I was tired of re-balancing my Zhiyun Crane 2 every time I took my camera off. This plate not only keeps the position of your x axis while removing the camera but it also eliminates the need for a the long Manfrotto style 501 Plate supplied with every Zhiyun Crane. Instead you can keep a small compact Manfrotto 323 plate on the bottom of your camera at all times that you can also use on anything that utilizes the Rapid Connect 2 design.
