Tool holder / USB wires / iPad Pencil holder on light socket

This is a remix of my light switch cover with a particular application in mind. I was thinking of having a little tool table that could go over or under the light switch itself and thought of this. It is an experiment.

I feel chagrin that my light switch is bolted to the wall in a strong plastic case that I can't leverage like a stud. Well the fact is that it shouldn't hold too much weight but it seems to me that the lights witch could serve as more.
