This is a binary coded switch providing 8 positions. It utilizes (3) V-15 style microswitches. Switches are held in place using two pieces of 1/8" diameter rod 1.5" long, Cams and shafts are keyed with small v-groves to provide proper orientation. Cam 3 assembled toward back, Cam 2 in middle, and Cam 1 toward front. A 3/16" diameter steel ball is inserted into Cam 1 along with a short (.75" long) spring. This provides a detent at each rotated position. Assembly is held together with 3x0.
