I just added BB8 to replace the R2 Wing mechanism.
I have been restoring old 1978 Kenner Xwings. I buy them with broken wings and print new ones. I recently decided to convert a few of them to the Poe Dameron Xwing.
This upgrade makes the cannons and rockets (nacelles) magnetically mounted. I used 3x6mm magnets. Watch N-S poles on all parts.
Print 2 hinges. Insert the metal rod into the hinges then insert all 4 wings and line them up. Use rubber bands to hold the wings together. Then drip so
