# TIG Welder - Argon Quick-Disconnect
## Thread adaptor for an Argon quick-disconnect

### Background
Originally my TIG welder didn't have a quick-disconnect for the Argon gas fitting. It required the connection/disconnection of a brass UNF 5/8x18 fitting to switch between TIG torches.

### Solution
I purchased a quick disconnect from eBay (type TBC) and designed this thread adaptor in OpenSCAD. My welder is equipped with a UNF 5/8x18 thread, and the quick-disconnect is a M12x1 thread.
