This is a magnetic chalk holder for pool/billiards chalk. the chalk itself press fits into the box piece. there are 2 cut outs in both the clip and the box piece to accept a total of 4 10mm x 3mm round magnets. A magnet with 2mm depth will likely work as well. I just used some leftover magnets that came with my LED strip lights for my tv.
