Some time ago my i-Optron N114 telescope needed a battery replacement, so I decided to change the original AA batt. pack (8x) by LiPO/NiMH 18650 assembly (4x).
I´ve printed batt pack above and added electronics for individual chargers (LiPO chargers TP4056 bought on aliexpress for U$0.80 each).
You could mount individual charger for each battery and link them in series to acheive 12~14V needed for telescope operation. Google it fo
