3d Benchy Christmas

If your new 3D printer happened to arrive right around the holidays, there’s no better way to break it in than with this Christmas Benchy. It works both as a festive decoration and as a fun little gift for any 3D-printing enthusiast, while still remaining a fully functional print test.The model includes several extra features that challenge your printer in useful ways: the Christmas tree on the stern, the engraved text along the hull, the tiny presents under the tree, and Santa’s legs sticking out of the chimney. All of these help you evaluate overhangs, bridging, small details, and overall calibration.I printed mine in a single filament, because, given the complexity of the Christmas tree, an AMS version would waste too much purge filament and take unnecessarily long.
