3D Printable Bachmann Coreless Motor Adaptor

These adapters can be used in several (but not all) Bachmann steam locomotives in order to replace the original motor with a cheaper and more readily available coreless motor (recommended: 8mm 12v 13500RPM)

Tips:
- The required height of the adaptor seems to vary. I've included a basic version, and another one with an extra 2.1mm added to the base. Trial and error may be required to get the height correct. The worm drive should make good contact with the gear, while not quite being at the end of the travel.
- The original Bachmann worm drives are incompatible. 6*6mm 0.5 modulus worm drives with a 1mm bore hole are readily available on Ebay and work well.
- The motor securing clip included with this kit is quite flimsy. I recommend only using it for testing purposes, and then glue the motor in place once tested and fully adjusted. Otherwise the cover can pop off.
