3D-Printable IBS Scale Models

This is part of my Final Year Project at Sultan Azlan Shah Polytechnic.

It consists of a series of objects intended to be printed and connected together in a fashion reminiscent of real world construction projects utilizing the Industrialized Building System (IBS).

Although it does not exactly emulate in a realistic manner the general procedures and steps involved in IBS construction, it can provide a perfectly fine kinesthetic experience which can aid students (and even children) in understanding the basic concepts of IBS.

This project is intended to be an educational aid first and foremost, although real world architects may absolutely use this to create building models loosely based off IBS methods.

For those unfamiliar with IBS, it is basically construction utilizing prefabs, except regulated by the Construction Industry Development Board of Malaysia.

All connections have a tolerance of about 0.2mm. This should be perfectly fine for most printers in general.
