I designed this in Fusion 360 using parametric modeling. I realized how cool locks were, and wanted to 3d print one. once I saw that nobody else has, I decided to take on the challenge myself.
To make this, you need a spring. Any old spring from a pen should be fine.
You need to print out of the models listed including:
cap
gear body
key shaft
key
pin 1
pin 2
pin 3 and 4 (x2)
raindrop housing
lock pin
Once you have all of your parts, you need to assemble them:
1) Place small springs into raindrop housing (cut down the springs to about 1/4 inch if you get them from a pen)
note: This step may need to be repeated based on the spring. If the spring is too tight, the lock wont rotate.
2) Place pins into corresponding holes. Pins 3 and 4 go into the raindrop housing so the curve is facing the heyhole. Pin 1 goes into keyshaft into the hole closest to the key hole. Pin 2 goes into keyshaft in the remaining hole.
3) Now you place the raindrop housing over
