3D printer Clearance/Tolerance Test

Tolerance/Clearance Test Print this file with whatever settings you see fit, it does not need to be durable so minimal infill is recommended however please use at least 3 perimeter walls.bear in mind with increased speeds comes lower accuracy, as such i suggest printing at your normal printing speed please re run this test with different filament and speed settings to find your most accurate setup.This test piece is designed to test the tolerance your 3d printer is able to hold at any given print speed/temperaturealthough £d printers are generally very accurate; a certain amount of “clearance is needed to allow parts to fit together nicely. for example, if i wanted to fit a 15cm square object into a square hole easily i would expect that hole to be something like 15.1cm in size for the part to slide right in. this changes with how you want the part to fit, for example if you wanted a part to be a tight ”press" fit, you would make that gap around the part or “clearance” smaller. use thi
