i had my filament attached on my lower part of the printer frame but the spool would wobble when i printed fast so i came up with this adjustable free standing spool holder, the spacing of the bearings are a lot wider apart than many of the others holders out there which means the spool sits lower in the rollers meaning its a little harder for the spool to be pulled out of the stand.
**The only hardware you will need is...**
x4 608z Bearings
super glue
**Files to print....**
x1 base A
x1 base B
x2 side male
x2 side female
**base A** is printed upside down.
**Assembly** is easy, run glue in the slots on the base them put a blob of glue on the end of bearing shaft of the **side male** then fit bearings on part and fit them into the base and repeat for the second half. i fitted some adhesive backed felt to the bases so it does not slip as easy.
**NOTE** the sides fitting into the base slots are a tight fit so you may have to play with your x y compensation u
