Can we put 3D printer and 3D scanner all into one like printer?
Hello everyone. David-3d is a kind of 3D laser scanning software and hardware with good quality and low price. But manual scanning could bring tiredness and bad results; projector is too expensive and heavy; and the PCB circuit board of the stepping motor is difficult to make. Therefore I think of driving the laser transmitter by 3D printer itself.
Most of the friends in this forum have 3D printer by official or unofficial replicator, so I use its Z axis lever. Different from the traditional scanning method, the camera and the scanned object move up and down, while the laser transmitter stays still. Actually they have the same principle.

Please buy laser transmitters with the diameters of less than 15mm. there is screw hole on the holder for installing the camera. Please open replicatorG software to control the Z axis. I also design a square tray to pu
