Makes
Air Filer to remove VOC from 3D printing.
Design is made to recycle air from the enclosure with low CFM to prevent temperature variations and air perturbation,
This design uses activated charcoal pellets of flakes in a basket.
Includes a pre and post filter holder
Input : Prevent dust from clogging the charcoal.
Output: Prevent possible leftover dust from the charcoal from going in the printing area.
This is still experimental and I will post updated on the design that is already planned.
NOTE : You will need for this project
2 x 90° 2'' (PVC , ABS...)
20 x 8-32 screws with nuts
1 x 80 mm Fan ( 12V computer fan type)
1 x Box of 4mm low dust, Steam activated charcoal pellets
(Use steam activated instead of acid activated to prevent possible corrosion)
1 x sheet 4mm filter foam ( for pre or post filter)
Technical info on prototype under test:
The CFM tested is between 7 and 2.5 depending on the density of the pre pre-filter.
