3D Printing Coaster or Wall Art

How many times did you say this phrase? :) Do you have anyone in your family or friends who don’t feel comfortable asking again to print damaged item? Don’t worry I CAN PRINT a new one! In the form of coaster (shown on the pictures) and as a bonus – bigger one to hang on the wall in your 3D printing studio! You may also share them with others to let them know you and your printer are ready to help! :) Model size Coaster – 10.5cm in diameter, 4mm thick Wall Art – 23.1cm in diameter, 4mm thick How to print this model Model was prepared with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height in mind. TIP! - If you want interesting and nice top surface as on the picture, change „Top surface pattern” from „Monotonic” to „Hilbert Curve”. Last layer will be printed slow, but trust me it is worth it! Printed in three colors. Start with the base color (on my coaster it’s black). At layer 15 change it for another one to show nozzle (on my coaster is grey). At layer 18 change filament to last color for frame and letters (on my coaster it’s white). Same rules for both coaster and wall art verisons. I like black/grey/white aesthetic but choose any colors you like most! If it turns out that the color combination used doesn’t look the best, well… you can always print a new one! ;) If you decide to print wall sign, let the print bed cool down to room temperature before you release it.
