3D Tetris Balance Game

3D Tetris Balance is a physical tabletop game that combines spatial reasoning, balance, and a bit of luck. Inspired by classic Tetris shapes, players take turns placing lightweight, open-frame pieces onto a curved see-saw base. As the structure grows, maintaining stability becomes increasingly difficult. A custom six-sided die determines which piece must be played, including one unique three-dimensional piece that adds an extra layer of challenge. The game includes a rocking base, a set of Tetris-inspired pieces, and a six-sided die. Five faces of the die correspond to standard flat pieces, while one face represents a special 3D piece. The objective is simple: be the last player to place a piece without causing the structure to tip or collapse. To set up, place the see-saw base on a flat, stable surface and keep all pieces within reach of the players. Decide the turn order before starting. The game can be played with two to four players, and it also works as a solo balancing challenge. On each turn, a player rolls the die and selects the corresponding piece. If that piece has already been used, players may agree to reroll, skip or establish a house rule. Once released, they cannot be adjusted. The turn ends as soon as the player lets go of the piece. If at any point the structure tips over, any piece falls, the player who caused it loses the round. Players are not allowed to steady the base, touch it or any otherpieces or reposition pieces after placement. When the die indicates the special 3D piece, the player must place the special block, which adds extra options and shifts the center of gravity more dramatically than the other pieces. This piece can be oriented in any direction, making it both a strategic tool and a potential risk.
