3DDP Vent Ring for Ender 3

We were a fan of the vent ring concept but weren't too keen on the design, the resultant mesh in the STL and the nozzle path on the print layers shown in Cura.

We decided to design our own from scratch using the original concept as inspiration.

The vent has been changed to use six slightly larger vents rather than the eight, also with an optimised interior profile split into two channels, three vents each, in order to improve airflow.

This was printed well on the first go (on an Ultimaker) with the print setting reflecting that, but only to be used as a guideline.
