This minimalistic RC plane has been designed based on past experience building and flying similar sized and shaped planes. I have built them off more traditional materials (EPS foam, balsa wood) previously, these materials usually yield a lighter model.

Now, this is my attempt at getting them 3d printed. The one in the picture is around 1kg weight including the battery. This should be OK to fly with a 300W electric motor.

No landing gear. Launch from your not dominant hand and land on plane's belly after cutting power completely.

For this prototype I used the below components:
9g servos (HXT900 from HK) - 4x required (aileron1, aileron2, rudder, elevator)
30A ESC with BEC
2826 1100kV outrunner
9x6 propeller (may need to downgrade to 9x4.7)
If underpowered I will try a bigger motor and ESC
2200mAh 3S LiPo battery
Any 6-channel radio and receiver should work (prototype using Futaba T6J)
