Simple box for a temperature meter. I designed this for the 3dpBurner2 3D printed laser cutter/engraver ( http://www.3dpburner.blogspot.com ), but it can be used for any other project.
Print on STL position without supports.
It´s ready to be fixed by using M3 stuff, double side tape or hot glue (i use double side foamy tape).
Installing the temperature sensor:
-There are some meters using the same case, so you can select the one you prefer (led segments 12v powered, lcd segments battery powered..). Meter i used comes with cylindrical 25x5mm sensor type.
-See pictures for details.
-Use a 2.5mm drill for drilling a hole on the heatsink.
-Use a M3 bolt for threading the hole.
-Use a 6 to 8mm drill for create a recess on the same hole, this will ensure the bolt head hiding not touching the duct.
-Use a M3x10mm bolt for fixing the sensor.
There is a similar but voltage/current meter here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1053787
Update: 11/Sep/2018 Added Fahrenheit mode
