This is an insert for the 3DPonics Bottle Stand. It was created for a better seal with the bottle.
Requirements:
- O-ring (mine is 21.0 mm inner diameter, 2.5 mm thick). I think anything with a ~1-inch outer diameter would work as long as it's not too thick.
Instructions:
1. Print the bottle stand and the insert.
1. Wet the o-ring. Slide it on the bottom of the insert such that the bottom of the o-ring is around 1 mm (5 layers, probably, for those of you with eagle eyes) above the bottom (flat) side.
3. Gently insert the assembly into the bottle stand. I find that it's easiest to put my index finger through the assembly and lower one side at a time into the opening so it doesn't catch too much on the threads.
4. Screw in the bottle **CAREFULLY**. The bottle stand is very easy to crack, since the layers are perpendicular to the force when tightening. I like to tighten until I feel the o-ring, then give the smallest additional turn (1-3 degrees maybe), then test for leaks. Con
